Read the Heise Medien case study located in the section titled Case Studies in your textbook concerning the following situation:
This case is ideal for demonstrating the importance of the general environment, international corporate-level strategy, and type of entry. The following points are to guide a review and discussion of these important concepts.
Review Heise Medien's general environment segments and elements in India and describe in detail all the elements associated with this segment. Include three to four perspectives of the general environment.
• What are the segments in the general environment that relate to Heise Medien's situation? Be specific? Provide examples and details.
• Analyze Heise Medien's intended international corporate-level strategy.
• What is Heise Medien's choice of international entry mode? Provide research and examples.
• What are the advantages and disadvantages compared to other international entry modes?
