Write a 500-word essay addressing the following questions:
1. What are Father Arrupe's main point? What does he mean when he says: "Take justice away from love and you destroy love. You do not have love if the beloved is not seen as a person whose dignity must be respected, with all that that implies. " In your opinion, what are those implications? Do you agree with his analysis? Explain.
2. What is Corcoran's main argument? What evidence does she marshal in support of her policy recommendations? Do you agree with her analysis and conclusions? Pay special attention to her use of the important notion/event of Hijra (the Prophet's migration from Mecca to Medina in 632).
