Project: Drug and Sport Report
Student will research a sport and drug related topic of their choosing. Student will prepare a written report:
What is an addiction?
What events can lead a person to having an addiction?
Research the athlete or person and summarize the substance abuse.
The Science: what is the science behind the drug? How does it affect you mentally? How does it affect you physically?
How does it affect your social life?
How does it affect your family life?
How does it affect your employment?
How would an enabler affect the drug user? Is this positive or negative? Give several examples.
Rehabilitation: What are the steps to beat an addiction? Go through the entire process for an addicted person to become healthy again? Also what steps must the person do to remain healthy for the rest of their life?
If you encountered this problem In your family how would you put help this individual get healthy again?
Reflection: and My life's plan of action.
If you were them: What would be your options to prevent this abuse from ever happening in the first place? Give me an idea of how you would lead your life in effort to have a healthy life. When you encounter tough times how would you go about staying healthy? If you were put in a situation that drugs are available to you what would you do?
