Problem
Keeping in mind the meaning of a "compelling ethical problem with a global scope," what is a topic that you would be interested in discussing for the research project you will be completing for the term?
In your first post, briefly explain the background of the topic so that readers have a good idea of what you would be researching. Also, explain why you would be interested in researching it. You are not required to define an ethical problem with "moral failure" (not yet!). You are also not obligated to offer an answer or to resolve a problem. Feel free to explore a topic, or general area of concern, that you find important, compelling, or interesting.
Note: you are not obligated to commit to this topic for the whole term, but I would like you to start the process of thinking.
