Research shows that this country is the best market for the company's growth and expansion. Do you attempt to find common ground? Do you abandon the idea of expansion just because the country does not share your values?
What business leaders don't have is a set of ethical codes on which all practitioners agree. Social responsibility is not high up in the minds of corporate leaders when they make business decisions.
