If a scientist has completed the Kastle-Meyer test on stains found in a victim's car and then she compares them to the positive and negative controls. What I am trying to understand is did the scientist run a positive and negative control to understand and compare the results to make sure they match the controls or is there more to it including controls in an experiment.
