• Research has shown that Monday is the highest negative-affect day across most cultures. However, in some countries, negative affect is lower on Friday and Saturday than on Sunday. What are two explanations for this discrepancy?
• Some might argue that emotional regulation is an unethical behavior. Why might someone take this position?
• Some countries, such as Japan and Russia, embrace negative emotions. What has been found to be a result of this focus on negative emotions?
