An organizational structure differs from one business to another. Watch the video "How to align the organizational structure with the work processes".
Imagine you were taking a CEO position at one of the following organizations:
a) Theme Park (3 parks located within United States)
b) Hospital (in your hometown)
c) Bank (10 locations in Florida)
d) W & T Products (supplier of products you sell to Big Box retailers such as Target, Walmart, grocery stores, etc.) W&T distribute toothpaste, toothbrushes, cosmetics, shampoo and conditioner.
Briefly describe the type of structure your organization would have (functional, divisional or matrix) based on the company you decide you want to work as CEO. Why did you choose this particular structure? How this structure would be effective in accomplishing organizational goals? What do you think would be some advantages and disadvantages of your chosen structure?
