Problem: Critical Analysis
The quality of the demonstration will be evaluated in relation to the clarity and relevance of the analyses, as well as the diversity of the arguments and illustrations presented. You will also be assessed on the form (problem, organization of ideas, articulation of arguments and written expression).
i. Voluntary and community organizations occupy the public space and produce goods and services in the same way as public and private organizations. In recent decades, relations have multiplied between these different actors, particularly under the paradigm of governance.
ii. What explains the evolution and the current nature of the relations between these different actors? (Cite and justify at least three reasons) How is the notion of governance relevant to assess these relationships?
iii. What do relationships, even those of governance, imply for each other in terms of strategies, advantages and disadvantages? (Cite at least two strategies or modes of action, two advantages and two disadvantages for each of the public and community actors)
In what way are organizations of the voluntary and community sector, as stakeholders of civil society, relevant actors? and legitimate aspects of the governance of contemporary so-called democratic societies?
