The US dollar is exchanged for a number of different currencies in the foreign exchange market. Go to the Currency Calculator. Select one foreign currency to respond to the following questions:
1) What is the current exchange rate between the two currencies?
2) How has the exchange rate changed compared to a year ago? Has the dollar appreciated, depreciated, or remained unchanged?
3) What explains the change in the exchange rate?
4) It would be a good idea to read articles on exchange rate between the two currencies to get more information.
5) Is the change in exchange rate good or bad for the US economy?
