1. Initial Assessment
Discuss the important elements of an initial assessment of a client. What are some questions you want to be sure to ask? Discuss how your favorite theory or theories of counseling influence the content of your initial assessment and the way you use the acquired information for goal setting and treatment planning.
2. Treatment Planning
How well did you do in constructing an effective treatment plan in your skills? What else do you need to know about treatment planning? What other skills do one might need to develop to be able to create effective treatment plans in collaboration with clients?
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
