1. Please choose from one of the topics below and follow the instructions.
Topics may include:

· Proper Nutrition

· Prenatal Education
· Over the counter medications
· Alcohol
· Caffeine
· Maternal Stress
2. Research your topic and write a three to four page paper describing the topic and what its effects are on prenatal development (also consider how your topic has changed over time?) Don't forget you need to cite your resources on a bibliography using the MLA style. You need at least three references, but your textbook counts as one. 3. Included in the three to four page paper should be your response to the following: Pretend that you are consulting a friend who has just found that she is pregnant. What would you do to teach your friend the importance of your topic? Discuss several strategies (hands-on ways, think "action" words) to inspire them to make the right choice. For example, "I will take my friend to the farmer's market to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables to add variety and nutrients to her diet."
