You will use the knowledge provided so far in this unit to examine the following article, Serial crowd funding, social capital and project success, to write a short essay that explores differences in types of social capital and its impact on project finance. In completing this case study, you are expected to draw upon broader knowledge gained in your studies to this point. Including references to other readings to support and contextualize your opinion is required.
Task description: In the case study, the authors outline the differences between serial entrepreneureurship in traditional settings and serial crowd funding. The authors also distinguish between the social capital accrued by serial entrepreneurs and the internal social capital generated by serial crowd funding.
Read the article and write a short essay (no more than 500 words) that answers the following questions: What is the difference between these two types of social capital and what effect do these differences have on project finance? Ensure that in your essay you demonstrate engagement with unit content to date or broader readings to support your analysis.
