Assignment Task: In 2035 California is planned to ban the making of new gas-powered cars to force owners to switch to zero-emission vehicles in hopes of reducing our climate footmark. As much as I think this is a positive initiative, I do believe there will be other external factors that will impact the economy. The pandemic has caused inflation in every aspect of daily living and I do not think it's going to get any better. The fact that I pass a gas station and see the price/gallon is in the low $5 mark and think "I should fill up" is crazy!

Do you think this will help or hurt gas price? Do you think this is a step in the right direction to help climate change and/or this will work? What do you think the ripple effect on will be on the economy?
