What do you think should be required training and credentials for a sport psychologist consultant? Why?
Are there different levels of expertise and skill? What would those differences be?
What questions would you ask of someone whom you were considering hiring to work with your son or daughter who wants to improve his or her golf game? Give at least 10 questions and then explain why these questions are important.
Using these questions as a guide, find a consultant online. Describe what information you find on their website that relates to your questions. What would their theoretical orientation be? Why? How comfortable would you feel hiring this person? Why?
