Question 2: A coal exporter from Central Queensland signed a sales contract on CFR (Tokyo) with a buyer from Japan. As it is CFR, so the exporter will arrange the freight for the shipment from Port of Rockhampton to Port of Tokyo. Which point did the seller deliver the goods to the buyer, Port of Rockhampton or Port of Tokyo? If the goods are damaged or lost on the ocean, who bears the risk for the damage or the loss of the goods? Please explain.
