What different forms does the architecture take there

Problem

In an ideal world, we would have an entire class on the Romanesque or Gothic periods and explore their different manifestations in different regions. However, we are doing a broad survey here. How does the Romanesque look in England? In Italy? In Germany? What about the Gothic? What different forms does the architecture take there? What about when Gothic Revival becomes popular in America?

Choose a time period from the module and region (or even a specific building, if you're interested in one-maybe you're obsessed with Jane Austen and want to explore the Bath Abbey, for instance, or maybe your cousin got married at Old South Church in Boston...in which case, give us pics!).
