Essay Problem
At some point during the semester, you will need to observe a live speaking event that is outside of a classroom environment. The essay should be typed, double spaced and should be 2 pages in length. Focus your term paper on one speaker.
The essay you write on the speaking event should be arranged in the following format:
• Part I: Describe the event, the audience, who was speaking, where it was, and when it happened
• Part II: What did the speaker do to make a good impression? Use concepts learned in class to explain your ideas
• Part III: How could the speaker improve for future presentations? Use concepts learned in class to explain your critique.
The response must include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, double-space, Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
