Have you ever had a student display the type of behavior shown in the "European Commercial" and "Teachers Sounding Alarm" videos? If so, what did you do in that moment to manage the situation? Have you ever had to contact an administrator or resource officer to provide assistance in regard to a student's inappropriate behavior? Do you agree with the "Room Clear" method? What can school districts and administrators do to support teachers when a student is displaying this type of inappropriate behavior? Now that you've had this course, what strategies do you think would be helpful going forward to de-escalate the situation if a student exhibits challenging behavior?
