Over the past several years, there has been a strain on positive police community relations. Police shooting and use of force incidents have received much more attention in the media in recent years. Some blame the police and the police culture, while others blame segments of the public for their entitlement attitudes, disrespect, and lack of cooperation with police.
Your task for this assignment is to answer the question: What can be done to improve the current state of police community relations? What type of programs, initiatives, policies and practices should be used and why?
