Project management skills are at the top of the list of skills desired by employers, and those with project management credentials are sought by many organizations because they understand the role of the project management discipline in delivering successful projects.
The Project Management Institute (PMI) is a leading nonprofit association that sets standards of good practice and certifies project management expertise. Learn more about the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and code of ethics. Then answer the following questions:
• What are the benefits of PMP or similar project management credentials?
• Click on Business & Government, then click on Case Studies in the left column to locate the Case Study Library, a collection of brief case studies that highlight the effective use of project management methods.
• Select and review a case study, and prepare a brief summary of a case that includes a discussion of at least one project management process presented.
