This activity consists of determining the price and commercial distribution policies of a multinational company linked to the sports industry. • How the activity should be resolved? Once the Unit's contents are assimilated, answer to the following questions: Select a multinational company linked to the sports industry. Choose freely the company (try to be original, but it may be the same that you used in previous activities or a new one). • Analyse the current pricing policy compared to 3 or 4 of the competitors in its market. You should focus on several products of their portfolio. • Assume the launch of a new product by this company (it may be within or outside the analysed portfolio: products with new features, new devices, products that is not producing so far,...), explain the product, and design the pricing strategy for it. Explain your pricing strategy. • What pricing strategies could be set in the future? You could use several scenarios on sales (positive, negative and neutral) and define reactive strategies in each situation. • According to your recommendation, and to the information to have gathered, what could be the distribution channels and distribution intensity for this new product?
