A bike rider has a frontal area of 0.4 m2 and a drag coefficient, CD of 0.9. If he is pedaling at 80 rpm. What average torque on the crank would he need to keep a steady 20 mph on level ground?  When going up a 2 % slope? (for both cases, assume no wind condition and neglect losses from chain, bearings and tires. Also, assume no gear (sprocket) changes. Use ? = 1.25 kg/m3 for air.)
