Calculate total work done by piston in ft-lbs from state

Funky Fredy weights 1000 lbs. Being too large to fit through door he must be hoisted from a platform to the second story of a building. The platform is a stainless steel piston of diameter 6 ft. and 7.8667 in. thick. See diagram. If the water in the cylinder is initially at 60 degrees F

a) How much heat is required to bring the water up to a saturated liquid (quality 0) temperature in btu/lbm (assume constant specific heat, 1 btu/(lbm oR).

b) The quality of the water/water vapor at the final height is .7. What is the temperature, pressure, specific volume, enthalpy and entropy at this state?

c) How much water (lbm) is required to raise the platform 20 ft by adding heat only?

d) Calculate the total work done by the piston in ft-lbs from state 1 to state 2.
