What are your thoughts on the new format of ERPs and APIs that are really plug and play into systems that we use everyday? For example, Microsoft Dynamics ERP system starts with programs and applications that organizations know like Word, Powerpoint and Excel. The ERP system takes these programs to another level by integrating the systems that the user already understands and then adding functionality that is intuitive for the user to navigate based on prior experience. SAP and Oracle systems also have the same advantage. By using these system, it cuts some of the training needed to get individuals up and running. From a change perspective, how can these system also help organizations to ease the cascade of effective use of the system? How can resistance related to using the system be mitigated and/or eliminated altogether?
