Discuss conflict and war and terrorism as inevitable aspects of human existence world-wide. Discuss the civil war currently taking place in Syria and the U.S. efforts to eradicate ISIS. What are your general feelings about war? What should the role of the U.S. be in solving crises around the world (if any)?
Be thoughtful and thorough in your discussion and consider the huge number of refugees seeking the right to immigrate to the U.S. Since our government has been involved the creation of these refugees, should we accept them to our country? Why or why not?
