Q: Strees is an reaction of an individual to new or threatening factors in their working environment or any other situation they are facing. Also can be a psychological and physical reaction to long internal or environmental condition in which and individual's adaptive capabilities are strained. More than half of the entire working population in America suffers from pressure of stress related to their job. Research has proven that extensive job stress can affect negatively emotional, pyschological and physical health of a worker. In my opinion, productivity, workers satisfaction and less health workers are this affected greatly. Stress is linked to a persons fear of failure. Job stress has extensive negative effects on an individual's physical and emotional health. Compensation awards are the costs that an organization pays for job distress. Mira Smith can prevent stress in his airline parts manufacturing plant though internal and environmental methods. She should put in place measures that avoid internal conflicts, fear, and guilt feelings. Environmental stressors such as aspects of organizational life example include management issue of authority, monotony, much responsibilities, excessive demand, and unrealistic workloads. Furthermore, adverse working conditions, such as high noise, high temperatures, or overcrowed areas should be avoided. In addition, interpersonal relation should also be prevented to have a free stress organization.
