Discussion Post: Analyzing Social Capital
Social capital is an important asset for community-based organizations. In a response of no less than 350 words, answer the following questions:
• Using specific examples, what is the difference between social capital and human capital?
• What are the various forms of social capital, and which three do you think are the most valuable to community-based organizations, and why?
• If you were the executive director of a community-based organization, how would you develop social capital in your organization and community?
