Will’s Winery is considering replacing equipment in its winery near campus. The new equipment will cost $270. Shipping of the new equipment will cost $60 and installation of the equipment will be $50. The old equipment has been in service for three years and has a depreciable basis of $200. The building will need modifications costing $100, but these will be paid by the landlord.
