Prepare a PowerPoint® presentation on nutritional needs at a selected stage of life. (OLDER ADULT) The 15-minute presentation must include speakers' notes and at least three references other than the course text.
Address the following:
1) What are the nutritional needs at this stage in life?
2) How are the needs at this stage in life different than the other stages?
3) How important is nutrition at this stage in preventing future disease?
4) How can nutrition affect growth, development, and learning at this stage?
5) What are some current nutritional issues, such as obesity or malnutrition, that can affect this group?
6) Deliver a 15 to 20-minute presentation using 10 to 15 PowerPoint® slides including music on the role of nutrition in the OLDER ADULT. Along with the presentation, each team will provide a handout that includes a copy of the reference list containing at least three resources (three journal articles and two websites to all members of the class.
