Assignment:
For each of the three articles I've posted this week, I'd like you to write up your analysis of the macroeconomic impact. Use a style similar to the response papers: summary, economic analysis, opinion. But in this case, be sure that your opinion is supported by economic theory. Each topic is pretty straightforward, without a lot of built in complexity, but I'd still like to see your thoughts on how these topics contribute to the overall macroeconomy. What are the gains from changing an alphabet, for example (that justify the costs), how does a positive startup culture contribute to overall GDP and economic well being, etc.
The only article that might hit a paywall is the startup in Sweden article, so I've provided a download of that. Links to other articles are in the module.
