ASSIGNMENT 1: ARTICLE REVIEWS & CRITIQUE
Each student will complete five article review & critiques intended to increase your awareness of diagnosis and/or treatment of specific mental disorders or diagnosis of mental disorders with a specific population (i.e. diagnosis with children adults, etc.).
For each article, write a brief synopsis that includes the article's focus or purpose, any research findings, and/or authors' conclusion.
Following your article synopsis and brief discussion:
Describe what you have learned about diagnosis research as a result of conducting this review.
What are the implications of this research for your future professional work?
How might you incorporate the article's ideas into your professional practice and why?
Critiques should demonstrate your critical thinking skills and address all of the above to receive full points.
Each article critique should be two complete pages per article.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
