• In your own words, discuss what it meant by the qualitative research approach to knowledge generation.
• What are the characteristics of qualitative research studies?
• Locate a nursing related journal article that used a qualitative research approach. Using what you know about qualitative research, answer the following questions:
• What was the problem area and research question?
• What were the study's concepts, independent variables, dependent variables, and operational definitions (if any)?
• How did the author overcome the limitations of doing a qualitative study?
• Did the author question any collective subjective beliefs? If so, what were they?
• Did the qualitative study incorporate "human concern" for the client with effective nursing practice? Explain, providing examples from the study.
The response should include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
