When you work in a globalised system and there are numerous factors that can influence your business strategy and HR strategy it is important that you carry out monitoring and evaluation of the external factors. In your groups you are required to carry out an analysis based on your chosen country context and produce either a poster or a wiki on the following:
A. Demographic data based on your chosen country. What are the challenges now and in the future?
B. Labour market and employment rates. What are the current strengths and weaknesses? What is impacting on this?
C. What is the current economic situation? Is it stable, weak, fluctuating? Who or what is impacting on this?
D. To what extent is your country technologically advanced? What is influencing this?
USING China as your study you may wish to focus on a specific sector or industry in order to do carry this out in any depth i.e. retail, energy, banking, IT, manufacturing etc.
