Problem: Hospice in Prison
a) Based on the topic, what are the benefits of this program for the sick/dying person? What are the benefits of this program for the people working in the program as nurses? What are the benefits to the prison itself?
b) Prison hospice programs are rare in the United States. Why do you think these programs are scarce? What security issues do they lead to?
c) Are you supportive or unsupportive of the prison hospice program? In other words, do you think this is a worthwhile program that should continue to receive funding? Please explain your beliefs.
