The latest statistics indicate that many individuals still desire marriage (according to Gallup and Pew Research Center). But in American society with marriages ending in divorce about 30-40 percent of the time (depending on what you read) is marriage truly a dying institution?
o What are the benefits of marriage in today's society? With so many children being raised by two parents in DIFFERENT households, is it really necessary that family be a function of marriage?
o Is cohabitation now the way to go? Why might cohabitation lead to higher divorce rates?
