Discussion: Paper records vs. electronic records
Imagine a colleague in your health care facility is refusing to cooperate with the move toward the electronic health record. She states that she will always trust "the paper health record over the electronic one." Share arguments you could make with your colleague. What are the advantages or disadvantages of the electronic health record (EHR) - and what could be done to best take advantage of the new technology?
