Assignment: Reflections on Luke
This will be a relatively quick homework assignment, compared to the ones we have done previously. However, it may be helpful to skim back over lecture slides and/or your notes from Luke as you think about your answers.
1. Now that you have read through the Gospel of Luke in its entirety, list a handful of things that stand out to you as you look back on it. What "sticks out" to you?
2. Describe the Gospel of Luke in a brief paragraph (4-6 sentences). Make sure you capture some of the things that you listed in #1.
3. What are some things that surprised you as you read Luke? How did it differ from whatever you expected? Or, if you had read all of Luke prior to our class, what are some new things you have become aware of as we have worked through it?
4. In another brief paragraph (4-6 sentences), how would you describe Jesus as he is portrayed in the Gospel of Luke?
5. On average, how much time would you say you spent on each homework assignment during our study of Luke?
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
