Go to the National Crime Victim Survey (NCVS) home page. Review the crime and victimization statistics from the year 1997 and also from the year 2007.
Review and describe four changes in crime and victimization trends over the decade. Why do you believe these trends occurred? Why is this important to investigate and continue this research? What are some problems/obstacles related to the data set of the NCVS? Are there any victim populations that were identified in 2007 that were not recognized in 1997?
