What are qualities will make you the perfect colleague

Discussion:

My number one trait that I would look for to put the perfect team together is the person's conscientiousness. A person that highly conscientious they are very responsible and organized. These types of characteristics are vital to have on the team. Next, I would want an open person, "extremely open people are creative, curious, and artistically sensitive." (Robbins, Judge, 2017, p. 136) It's ok to be comfortable in the familiar, but you need to be open to expand ideas. You also need someone that has a lot of neuroticism. They need to be able to withstand the stress that job will bring with it. You can't have someone that is going to crack under the pressure of what a typical work day can put on you. One thing I would never hold against anyone is their lack of work experience. It makes me mad when my current employer always looks down on people that don't have the experience or degree. To me, that doesn't make a person more qualified to do the job. Sometimes it's the less experienced people that work the hardest because they have something to prove. "Optimism and enthusiasm, trustworthiness and knowledge were also held in high esteem." (Davidson, 2016, p. 12) are a priority to me in the ideal person. Also, I would love to work with is someone that is outgoing, a hard worker that isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. Plus, so someone that is open to new ideas and concepts.
