Ways to make counselors-in-training more self-reflective

Question: Now formulate an ethical issue that you might have to deal with as a counseling professional. As Evans et al. (2012) indicate, one of the best ways to make counselors-in-training more self-reflective and aware is to have them address ethical dilemmas presented in vignettes and develop potential solutions to resolve them. Come up with a realistic vignette that deals with an ethical issue presented in the Zunker text (Chapter 8), the Amundson (2002) article, and/or the Sampson and Lumsden (2000). Be sure that the issue involves one of the following areas: Boundaries of confidentiality with clients, Boundaries of informed consent with clients. After you have come up with your vignette description, reflect on several ways you can arrive at a satisfactory resolution to the ethical dilemma. Consider not only the viewpoint of the counselor, but also the client in arriving at your solutions. Need Assignment Help?
