Velocity of the objects in terms of air resistance

Explain the velocity of two different objects: heavy rock and light feather. At first, describe what happens if the two objects are dropped on Earth. Secondly, compare this to what happens on the Moon (ensure to refer to the movie found on the web site that shows a NASA astronaut doing this experiment on the Moon). Finally, find out a cotton ball and rock which are about the similar size and drop them. Then place them in the two boxes with the exact same size, shape and material. Drop them again. What do you find out? Describe your findings in terms of air resistance before placing the objects in the container and after placing those in the container (that is, try a cylindrical 35mm film holder).

Heavy rock and feather dropped on the Earth elucidation.

Heavy rock and feather dropped on the Moon explanation.

Activity and explanation of rock and cotton ball dropped on Earth. First drop them. Then drop them in the same size container. Make sure to elucidate your findings in terms of effect of air resistance.
