A block having mass of 2 kg is pressed against a spring with k = 7200 N/m compressing it 10 cm if the spring is released. Determine:

i) The kinetic energy of the block after it leaves the spring.

ii) The velocity of the block when the block encounters a rough patch on its way having µ = 0.5.
Then,

iii) Determine how much work is essential to bring the block to complete stop?

iv) Determine how long does the patch have to be to bring the ball to the stop?
