Velocity of the ball when it leaves the cannons barrel


A cannon shots a 1000 kg ball at 60o above horizontal. During the first second (1s) the ball is accelerated inside the cannon barrel and experiences a net force of 50000 N towards the barrel opening (being pushed by gases produced by burning gun powder, no friction). Calculate:

1) Velocity of the ball when it leaves the cannon's barrel;

2) Time it takes the ball to hit the ground after it leaves the barrel;

3) Maximum height of the ball during its flight;

4) Distance from the cannon to the point where the ball hits the ground;

5) Velocity with which the ball strikes the ground
