A plastic ring (or hula-hoop) is thrown to the right with a velocity of 8m/s, and it moves in such a way that it produces a counterclockwise rotation at an angular velocity of 4 rad/s. The ring weights 1lb (pound) and has a diameter of 3ft (feet). Determine how long it takes for the ring to stop slipping and IF it returns (to the left) or if it continues going in the original direction (right). The friction coeficient is µ=0.3 .
