Urine
Normal urine is clear, yellow in colour, slightly acidic. Urine consists of 96% water and 4% solids like urea, uric acid, urates, chlorides, phosphates, oxalates, sulphates. Urea, uric acid and urates are end products of protein metabolism. Abnormal components found in urine are albumin during some disease; blood during injury; sugar in diabetes.
