Problem:
All assessments and assignments need to be referenced and cited. You should use 'at least' your textbook as source material. you should be regularly using sources outside of your book in your writing. Scholarly sources do not include wikipedia, ask.com, answers.com, etc.
I do deduct points for incorrectly formatted references and citations. It is not correct to just place your citations at the end of your text/paragraphs and in doing so, I view it as not having cited at all. So, for all assessments and assignments, missing references and/or citations will receive a warning upon the first infraction. The 2nd infraction will receive an AIV letter and one of the following: 1) a 0 for the assignment, 2) additional points deducted or 3) required modifications and re-submittal
