Discussion:Criticality and Vulnerability Rating
Assessing the criticality of assets and their vulnerability to both natural and man-made disasters brings together the final pieces of the risk assessment puzzle. With these three types of assessment, any asset can be dissected to create a balance between protection and practicality. The key is identifying the assets that are most critical and most vulnerable to previously identified threats so that a program for risk management can be achieved.
