Nonprobability Sampling
Assume that a breakfast cereal manufacturer wants to learn more about the breakfast habits and preferences of the general population so that as they evaluate marketing opportunities in different metropolitan areas they will be better able to predict the success of different approaches to their marketing mix.
Create a one-page memo in which you describe the two types of nonprobability sample designs that you feel would be most appropriate for this research project. Compare and contrast the advantages, disadvantages, and limitations of the two sample designs. Identify the one sample design that you feel would result in obtaining the most valuable information for the cereal company and explain why you chose that one.
