The voltage and current at the terminals of the circuit

The voltage and current at the terminals of the circuit element in the figure are zero for t<0. For t≥0 they are v=70-70e^-1000t V, i=25e^-1000t mA.

a. Find the maximum value of the power delivered to the circuit.

For this problem I tried multiplying the equations for v and i by each other and then finding the derivative and setting that to 0, but I got stuck and don't know how to proceed.

b. Find the total energy delivered to the element.
